Focus and Scope
This journal aims to publish articles addressing key societal challenges in Indonesia, and Asia, with a focus on four primary areas as follows:
- Social Science and Humanities
Covering studies in sociology, anthropology, psychology, history, philosophy, cultural studies, local wisdom, climate change, environmental movements, politics, and social trends. - Law
Focusing on legal systems, human rights, environmental and energy law, cyberlaw, civil and criminal law, customary law, adat courts, anthropology law, sociological law, Islamic law, land law, international law, as well as issues of judicial systems and judicial reforms across different legal systems. - Education
Covering educational policies, learning innovations, and global education trends, with an emphasis on the role of education in social transformation. - Economics, Engineering, and Sustainability
Exploring development economics, labour issues, innovation economics, sustainable engineering practices, renewable energy, urban development, and technology's impact on society.

Peer Review Process
Journal Geuthee: Multidisciplinary Research is applying the double-blind review process. The decision to determine the appropriate reviewers is the right of the editor. The approved gallery proof of the manuscript will early view online as early as possible upon received from the author and final proofreading by the editor-in-chief.
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not allowed. A software tool may be used so that the submitted articles are screened for plagiarism. Detection of overlapping and similar text is used there, so quotations and appropriate citations must be used whenever required. The author is only to submit a manuscript free from plagiarism and academic malpractices. The editor, however, checks each article before its publication by Journal Geuthee: Multidisciplinary Research Editorial Board.
Each article sent will be evaluated on the basis of the following considerations:
- The results of scientific work are the work of the original;
- Conformity between research topics, methodologies, and findings;
- Have a good analysis;
- The ability to communicate with readers;
- Based on the recommendations of the reviewer.
The normal time for screening and evaluation of manuscripts is one to two months from the date of receipt.
Articles submitted to Journal Geuthee can use Indonesian, and English. However, the title and abstracts must be in Indonesian and English.
The editor's final decision on the manuscript is decided by the Editor in Chief.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
